The GSK Basic safety course certificate have te be repeated every 4 years, within 8 years.
The training must be repeated every 48 months by everyone who works on Norwegian continental shelf. Personnel who have not completed the refresher course within 4 years must take this before departure. If this is not done within 8 years, you must complete the GSK Basic safety course over again.
Course participants will receive a certificate after completing the course, approved by Offshorenorge. That provides opportunities to take more specialized emergency preparedness courses further.

|Exam/test||A final exam. Also requires participation in all theoretical and practical exercises.|

|Course certificate||The course certificate will be delivered when the course is completed and passed. Valid identification must be presented.|

|Practical information||Bring a towel and an set of underwear on the last day of the course. If it is cold outside, also bring full-coverage underwear in cotton or wool.|
